Willie "Bill" Wilhite, 90, of Ocoee, departed this life on January 5, 2025.

He was born on October 15, 1934, in Moulton, Alabama, to the late Jack and Ruby Hamby Wilhite.

Bill enjoyed farming, cattle ranching, hunting, fishing, spending time at the lake, camping and being on the Florida beaches. A few of his fondest memories were spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jack and Ruby Hamby Wilhite, he was preceded by his sisters, Bonnie Pugh and Audrey Pickrell; stepson, Steven Lee Wilhite.

Left to cherish the many memories include his loving partner of over 33 years, Opal Howard Deverell; sons, David (Tammy) Wilhite and Mark Allen Wilhite; grandchildren, Joshua Lee (Megan) Andersen and Michael Allen Andersen; bonus family, Howard (Viva) Deverell, and their daughters, Liza and Darvee; his fur baby, Ginger. A host of family and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Tazz Reid officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Family and Friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
